Great value hotel, with great staff and perfect location. This was our second stay. It gets the job done!

Great location, clean comfy room, and exceptional staff. After a 1 night stay, we immediately embarked on a ha long bay cruise and, after returning, had a late night overnight train ride to Sapa. The staff allowed us to store our things there for a few hours prior to leaving, which we greatly appreciated, at no charge. We re-booked a 2 night stay at the end of our vacation since it exceeded all of our expectations. Book it! The location and staff can't be beat at a great price.

Great location and super easy to walk everywhere from. The staff were helpful when we needed things and the room was basic but comfortable for the couple of nights we were there. I'd recommend it as a cheap and cheerful stay if you want to be right in the centre of everything! Comfy beds too.

The rooms were a little tired compared to the photos. The bathroom was a wet room rather than in the pictures despite it being the deluxe as we'd booked. In fairness, the staff were helpful and let us move rooms, however it was still basically a wet room so the floor ends up wet after showering. We also had a random call from reception at 7am to ask us if we wanted to book an airport a taxi, which wasn't ideal on our last morning before a super long flight.

The hotel location is 8-10 mins walking distance to Don Xuan Market for souvenir shopping. There's also pasar malam stalls/ night markets around the shophouses around our hotel area during weekday nights.Al-Noor mosque is 15 mins walking distance but halal food there at Zeynab Restaurant opens late & close early, food choices not much variety.7-Seater Grab Fare around Hanoi town cost S$2 to S$6 which is very reasonable to go to a halal-eatery /halal-certified restaurant.

1) On 1 day of our stay, we have to keep calling the hotel staff to assist with the TV remote control but the male day-reception staff was very friendly & cooperative. 2) Reception staff did not working overnight (24 hrs) so we got to call hotel housekeeping cum operator staff for assistance, but too bad she was not English-fluent so communication a bit difficult for us tourist.3) Hotel lobby air-con was not working/brokedown during our stay.

due to an administrative issue, we got another room than we booked (but than we also payed the lower rate and on top we got breakfast for free on the following days), hot water only from time to time, drain of the shower and sink was blocked, AC couldn't be used (heating) as it emitted an unpleasant smell

Everything was neat and staff were very helpful. location was convenient in Old Quarter. Great value for money.

Sometimes the room can be a little old but it is always neat.

The staffs are friendly.It is within walking distance of Old Town and the Lake there is a convenience store and many restaurants nearby. it is quiet at night outside but some machine noise all day. But overall it was a comfortable stay and overall, I highly recommend it.

Not worth

Bedroom style is not what is advertised on the website. Wall and bed linen all white...furniture is old...TV remote controller spolit...

Staff were fantastic.Beds were comfortable. Location was great for walking around.

Shower had no pressure and was broken in my room. Ceiling had water dripping on me from a light fitting in my room one night. They did fix the next day. Manhole was open in bathroom.They charged us for a can of come from mini bar when we never drank anything from mini bar. Friends had to move room because we booked twin single beds and original room had queen bed. Next room had shower above toilet and basin so everything got wet.

Basic breakfast is available for 3 usd per person but there are lot of cheaper places around for eating. They do not have a functional kitchen. The junior suite with terrace was fabulous for smokers like me. Very centrally located and 3 minutes walk to Don Xuan Market.

Cleaning Service was poor but otherwise a very comfortable stay.

The location was great in the old quarter.The beds were super comfy.Staff were helpful.

The WiFi was poor. There was no hot water for 2 days but we were compensated for this and when it was fixed the shower was good.

Lily was the best host and helped us organise all of our trips from the Hotel from a boat tour to Halong to a mountain trek is Sapa along with the accommodation and buses for every thing. She went above and beyond, we are so lucky we booked with her it made our short stay in Vietnam manageable and we were able to see everything we wanted to. Would definitely come back!

Good localization. Quiet.

Dirty bathroom.

The location of this hotel can’t be beat. It’s right in the old quarter 15 or 20 min walk to everything interesting, but in a quieter section so it is not loud at night. We walked 5 minutes every morning to go to Banh Mi 25 (highly recommend for breakfast). The staff was super friendly and when one plug for the hairdryer didn't work they quickly provided a new hairdryer.

The air-conditioner was actually too powerful! We had to keep it set pretty warm to not freeze haha. Also the shower did not get very hot, but honestly we may have missed something to turn on the water heater. Both of these things are probably something we could have talked to the staff about and I have no doubt they would have addressed in some way (such as with extra blankets for the AC), but they didn't bother us enough to warrant us talking to the staff about so honestly I can't really complain.

The staff were very helpful and location great. We booked our Ha Long Bay tour from the hotel as well, and it was the cheapest by far. We came back from a night bus and they even gave us a room for a couple of hours to rest in before going on the tour for free.
